It is kind of annoying. I find it hard to believe that the bulk of the galaxy couldn't just step up and basically squash Kincaid (on Baade).

Anways, there are ways to put a stop or at least hamper it...  And negotiations have stopped on one single point, which I opinion in Kincaid's favour, having to screenshot financial reports.

Out of curiosity, I signed up for an account, but I was told that all galaxies were full, and that I'd be placed in queue and contacted by a GM when a position was available.

Is this normal? If so, how long did you have to wait?

Too bad the game is inaccessible at work - probably because they insist on using port 8080 for some reason, and the firewall is blocking that.

I guess it's normal, this happened a few weeks ago as well and people were able to get in after that. You'll have to wait for inactive houses to time out. Hope you come to Gemini!

I don't know if you should wait for any sort of response... just try again if it's been a day or two.

I joined a week or so ago, I was given that same message, but within a few hours I got an email saying that they had created a few spots in response to my attempt to join. They did say it was first come first served though, so if you get an email from them, don't dally.

In Baade, by law, the emperor/empress has to provide the subsidy to minnows or some such.

The subsidies will run out after about a year unless you intentionally stay small and say you are 'struggling' with the game or something.

I expect most of it to dry up after a year. I'm hoping to retain a 25ker.
