This sentence is obviously missing some epic boobs.

P.S. oops sorry, I didn't get it at first, the image didn't load so I thought that I'm in Various nonsense forum *blush*.

You have something against boobs now, Mainiac? I'd say that's pretty chauvinistic (read: Conservative) of you.

And yeah, I've noticed stuff like a missing what here and there too, but I never considered it bad enough to report on the forums.

Considering it takes exactly 5 seconds to fix and adds so much to the game...

5 seconds, from when you locate this message in the code, which can be easy...or can be not easy.

It's very easy if I'm already working on the code, since I can quickly do a search on the code for the text. It's far too much work to bother with if I'm not already working it though.  :P

Wouldn't notepad and Ctrl+F do all the work for you?

That's not much better, since most of the overhead is in the fact that I use a mac, and edit source under Windows. That aside, it would be easier to start Visual Studio than use notepad. There's some 50 different files, and even if there weren't, the resulting file would be so big it would crash notepad upon opening it.

Alright. I'm not a coder so I wouldn't know. But big enough to crash notepad? How big is it?

I use ZTreeWin to find stuff in multiple files.
It's hella fast. It looks like an old DOS app tho.

I don't know for certain, but it's measured in tens of thousands of lines. I believe Notepad starts to around 200,000 characters (counting letters, spaces, tabs, or lines). I know for certain that LCS breaks notepad because I tried it a couple years ago, back when it was all in one file. ;)

it's somewhat beside the point, but all windowses ship with wordpad, which can open files of any length (and work with them without lag, which is what notepad has, when the file isn't quite big enough to break it outright)

If you're on a mac (or any unix-y thing) it's a piece of cake...  Just grep for it:

Simply (from the src directory):
grep "Burning a piece" */*.cpp
tells me it's in the sitemode/talk.cpp file.  Then just vi it.

If you're more of a unix-head you could probably fix it in one "sed" command instead...

There must be a "grep" for windows too, no?
