A.D.A.B.; The Succession Wars {Game thread}

Long banished upon an island, dwarves still struggle for peace. Evil spreads, and chaos grows from assumptions. Survivors still seek to turn the tides ... but against the wrong people?

If it were only the earth we struck ...

To Rule
* Download the above savefile, and play the first twelve months. When this time comes, please email me the save file at onemorenameless@gmail.com
* Once all players have finished, I will award the first points and send you the next save file. You will rotate between playing all player's forts according to the roster below. It's a little messed up since half the players have dropped out in two rounds. >_>
* Play this new savefile for twelve months, then email me this file. I will award points for that round's challenge as well as the bonus points.
* Etc.
* As long as you have fun, everyone wins! Although, the player with the most points wins even more.

To Plan
* Round 1: End the year with the highest average quality bedroom for all dwarves.
* Round 2: End the year with the highest total food stores.
* Round 3: End the year with the most legendary skills.
* Round 4: End the year with the largest number of usable constructed screw pumps.
* Round 5: End the year with the greatest number of kills by one dwarf.
* Round 6: End the year with the highest percentage of dwarves with lovers.
* Round 7: End the year with the single largest full, non-stone stockpile
* Round 8: End the year with the highest dwarf population.
* Round 9: End the year with the largest pointless construction.
* Round 10: End the year with the highest created wealth.

* Bonus 1-2: Fastest turn completion.
* Bonus 1-4: Best ingame display of dwarfyness.
* Bonus 1-6: Most entertaining story posts.
* Bonus 1-7: Largest water feature.
* Bonus 1-10: Most overall developed fortress.

(Round) - (Player) (Fort), (Player) (Fort), ...

Ok so I felt left out with all the spoiler tag things. Though it does clean things up a bit, figure I might as well use it.

And done with the first turn as well.

Things went fairly smoothly up until the last bit of winter, then things went nuts... The Events of the year are as follows:

Wow, everyone is getting through the aquifier but me. I really need to look up how to do that and teach myself.

But I had alot of fun with my game in any case. XD Dwarfystairs for the win!

Also, I didn't post any screenshots because I was trying to be sneaky, and didn't want people copying me. I suppose that will change as we get further into it. The greatness of my constructions are best seen instead of read.

Don't worry bout it Haika. I just recently learned how to get through them without magma/freezing. Besides, you can look at the area I used to get through to get ideas about how to get through them.  The problem comes from multi layer ones, as it takes more and more space to get through them. Plus from Haven's post,  we know that once we locate the magma, have a quick way past it as well.

This will be interesting to see each other's fort as hopefully will inspire new ideas.

Strife cancels Game thread: Fish. 'I got distracted while setting up my new fish tank (a 20 gallon long actually) but I have now gotten to downloading the file! It's on 40d right? And I just slip it into the saves folder?

Okay, once more into the breach. I forgot that the only copy of 40d on my laptop was modded. Downloading real 40d now.

It'll work eventually!

EDIT: I was smart enough to try it out on my desktop first, and it worked (slowly). I'll port it to my laptop now. Although, would it be cheating to find the magma pipe and then start over?
