Slaughtering animals

Tamed animals should be able to be assigned for slaughter when they are being viewed. Instead of simply saying "this animal cannot work" there should be an option to assign that particular animal for slaughter. Helps to get rid of those maimed dogs that struggle around the fortress

well the strays mostly, I mean the dwarves don't have to know they are eating sub par dog meat. Although being able to euthanize those dwarves who go get themselves wounded would be nice alternative to a slow death locked in a room

Hmmmmm... So my book keeper has mandated ANOTHER hundred thousand platinum coins? *EUTHED!*
Although, for that matter, who'd want to eat book keeper burgers?

Ps: I justify this post by pointing out that nobles are basically animals anyway ^^.

This is reasonable.  There's certainly enough interface space left in that area.

Some indication (on the euthanasia selection screen) of which animals are maimed would be nifty.  :)
