These are sphr's, right?

I drew some gray fatties too :). They appeared nice despite of the gray color.

Yep, these are Sphr's.  Anything he created I am using as a base.  I've also made his Kobolds brown, they'll probably be in the next release, although I won't really have expanded them at all.  Gobbos and Elves first.

I like the fact that "flavourness" takes it over. Don't you want to take my kobolds instead of his ones? Sphr's kobolds are too lizard-like in my opinion. I drew mine based on the "Kobold Quest" game.

Dee, can you please double check that this door was actually constructed?  I checked in my game and that's exactly what I see when I've placed a door but the dwarves haven't installed it yet.

Little update: I've finished all of the mercantile folk for the elves (merchant baron, merchant prince, etc)

the doors are installed,
thanks for the help any ways i re downloaded DF the graphics are working

I missed the Kobolds when I was looking over your mod.  Those do look a lot better than Sphr's.  I think I will use yours, thanks  :)

Will other mods work with 40D#?
If the download on the main page is 40D then that is what I have. I just read that the 40d# speed up the game a lot...
So will other graphics/mods work with 40d# or is it with all mods/graphics?

The mod itself is compatible with 40d# (tested it myself on 40d9), but you cannot use my init file from DFFD, as it is missing the new parameters introduced with 40d#.  I'm not sure what might be causing your issues.  If anyone else sees the same, please let me know.

I noticed this as well.  To get around the problem I just went over your init file line by line and put the appropriate variables into my init file by hand.

I think splitting tiles/text is too broad of an item.  Specifically, enabling graphics for furniture and workshops, would be my pick as the best next step.

Schist doors are showing the backcolor as the forecolor and forecolor as back color (the forecolor is dark brown and the magenta of the pic comes dark brown and the rest of the color is black (the back color)).  I switch the backcolor of Schist to red.  Looks really nice sittin there unmined, but the grey colors of the door pic show up as shades of red.

I have problems with a couple other things doing this, can't remember what just now - but anyone have any idea wassup?

Update!

- Replaced Sphr's Kobolds with Deon's Kobolds (thanks again!)
- Created basic profession sprites for Kobolds
- Converted Sphr's Goblins to be grey
- Added basic Profession sprites for Kobold civilians
- Added some jobs for Goblins
- Added Elf merchant nobles
- Added Elf royal guards
- Added prone corpse sprites for each of the major races to the tileset
- Brightened up the tile for vermin remains
- Improved barrel tile
- Improved up and down stair tiles when designating

I'll update the screenshot gallery some time tomorrow.

This is getting better and better, I think I will replace my df graphic set with yours soon (I just don't play DF for some time already so I haven't managed to do it yet :).
