 But ontopic, I'll vote Churchill. Lincoln was more concerned with keeping the union together, and while I am part of the result I have an interest with people standing in the way of an unstoppable force going after their lives, families and countries.

I'm not saying that it isn't a very good thing he liberated them, and that makes him noteworthy; I'm just saying that he's not the saintly figure some seem to think he is. If he had liberated them out of compassion then I would consider him awesome. Since he did it to win a war, he's not more awesome than the Allied Leaders of WWII.
