Going balls out on SEVERAL MACHINE GUN CREWS and infantry squads is SUICIDE. Just because ONE GUY can do it, doesn't mean everyone can. But anyone fit for the role of sniper can be as good as Simo.

But I have to vote for Simo. That's the best way to win a war. To kill your enemies' brains. Even if you don't shoot them.

Prometheus was real. SOMEBODY invented fire. We know that as a fact. Wild fire us uncontrollable. We need to produce our own fire to work with it. So obviously somebody did that first. We named that person Prometheus.

I thought fire always existed. Learning to utilize something is not the same as inventing something. But before we start arguing, let's nominate somebody else. How about Sigmund Freud?

What's wrong with this community that we can't decide who invented fire?

I say Promethius not only invented fire, I say he jacked the gods for fire and delivered it unto you and me, and he was so badass about it that even when the gods caught up with him and imprisoned and tortured his ass for thousands of years, we STILL have fire.

Even if it's just a story, sombody somewhere invented the means to harness fire for human use, and whoever it was, was a badass cavebear-fuckin mothafuck.

Audie is a hero, no doubt about it.
but Simo is a hero who uses his head

In Audie's defense, he atleast used his head enough to not only be a hero who survived and came out ahead in WW2, he also converted his heroic actions into a successful movie career-and there's nothing wrong with that at all.

So I think he was more than just a heroic brick.

Being a hero, and then going on to be a success in regular life too, is something that not all heroes ever seem to manage.

Ofcourse, as far as I know, Simo had a great life afterwards, too-and certainly a very long one-but it's something to think about.
