Yeah, I'm still around.

Well good to know, think I should start this up again? Or try something new?
Yeah, I'd say you should.

just finished catching up, been reading everything for the past few days.  I'd love to hear more about the crystal castle, the nobles and economy should prove to be an interesting hurdle to overcome in terms of glass production; it's already hard with your wood all tied up!

I'm wondering though, why don't you try to pierce the aquifer? there could be flux below it..?

Back when I first started this, The aquifer was a limiting factor. More of a roleplaying choice than one of ability, even if I'm not fond of using pumps and mill mechanics.

I don't think I will be updating this fortress for now, however, I just happen to be finishing up the introduction on a new community fort that has the ability to be very interesting. The Crystal Castle may yet be reborn, upon the black sands of a world with no other dwarves...

Trust your calculator. It's something to count on.
Pencils could be made with erasers at both ends, but what would be the point?

Feel free to join us over with Azure and Steel, might not be as good as this one, but I'm having fun with it at least.

In the risk of really necro-ing an old thread. I decided to bump this, for new forum-goers to read some of my old work.

I can't believe it's been over two years since I wrote for Zasrimtar. Reading over it again after so long still brings a smile to my face.

I've been thinking of starting up a new community fortress, but it is quite a bit of work. Maybe if enough people read this, get enthused, and post here with encouragement, I may think something new up.

If nothing else, I hope some of the old people involved with this may notice and smile like I have from good times.
