[NOSKULL][NOSKIN][NOBONES][NOMEAT] + [MODVALUE:1000]? What would it drop that would have a modvalue?

That and it doesn't drop a corpse anyway, just a masterwork obsidian statue. Seems kind of redundant. I'd agree that the damblock is a bit high: for reference, a masterwork adamatine battleaxe should be completely stopped by damblock:60, without counting skills (since I'm not sure how they factor in to damage), so damblock:2000 seems excessive.

That said: engineered cavein + steel cage trap = ecstatic dwarves forever (as a zoo) or any one merchant caravan of your choice.

Actually it only says that they couldn't fly (which means the [FLIER] tag shouldn't be there at all) but no conclusion is reached on whether they have wings or not. Why would a creature have wings if it can't fly? Because it looks cool. ;)
