Woah...you mean, the liaisons are actually useful?

So, I ordered a bunch of different types of metal bars from the human liaison, right? Maxed out the demand on all of them.

Next caravan? It's carrying what I ordered, and nothing else. Maybe the weight of the items I ordered made a difference? I ordered gold, silver, billon, etc. That sort of thing. Anyway, it's pretty awesome.

Hell, I wish I could do that with the dwarvish merchants, but those bastards keep watering down my order with stuff I don't need. And never buy.
My fortress is on a bloody island, you think they'd be careful with what they packed!

Yes, weight is a factor. Little to no filler if you're only interested in rock and metal

Good luck trying to make them bring you undyed GCS silk though

They do bring undyed GCS thread (if the civilization has access), you could make your own *silk cloth* from that :)

Most of it is dyed and poorly at that. And you get a maximum of 5 strands at once
