669 Meters! I don't know how much in feet that is...
« on: January 08, 2009, 09:16:18 pm »

It's called Brick Yard, it's like Tetris in more ways than one.

Except for the fact that in this one you stack the bricks than instead of getting rid of them. It's quite fun, especially for the fact that it is also a simple physics game as well.

The highest I've ever gotten so far is 669 meters! Let's see which one of us gets higher. Also press 'P' for instant laughs.

Hmm, reminds me of 99 Bricks. Without having spent much time with either game, can someone compare and contrast them?

99 bricks is far more Tetris like. The blocks constantly move down, you control with arrow keys. Brick yard uses mouse and keys, and the bricks can be placed anymore - above, below, etc (although below is usually a bad idea). Brick Yard has five play modes, 99 has just one. Brick Yard has physics, and a "fun" button.

Brick Yard in my opinion is far better, unless you don't want physics.

Oh and also...
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
I didn't expect the last piece to stay. The entire thing was slowly shifting right, non-stop, so I quickly placed it to get as high as I could.

749 woo!

Yeah, I tried it, right after the top of my tower fell.

And it was epic. For those who haven't played and want to know what "p" does... too bad, go try out the game!

I'm sure. Do you think I'm so foolish as to believe that? It probably just pauses the game. It was a good effort, but your deception has failed.
