Wow. Worst week ever. All 3 of the scholarships I wanted to apply to require a subscription that costs faaar too much. I'm sick with who knows what. And my laptop's hard drive is no longer spinning. Calling in to get it repaired, but they're busy 24/7 it seems. So, either the turn will be a week, a few weeks, whenever the laptop gets back if I can get it repaired (and hopefully I got a 2 year and not a 1 year warranty...), or if my hard drive is fried from trying to spin but epic failing at doing so... dear lord...
I'm glad I didn't have my older topic removed, in the event my hard drive is ruined. Would've lost the history of some of everybody's life. Well, mostly everybody. Maybe not the most recent ones. I can't remember if they joined by then. And too lazy and frustrated to look.
To make up for basically everything, I'm thinking of starting a new forum game, to replace this one while I'm busy (as in, we'll get back to the normal one once scholarships are done, and possibly through college, although I doubt my college days will be very open to work). It will be much shorter, like the first RTD sort of turns (where a single line summed up one person's entire turn, and a few more gave the setting's changes). However, I don't want it to be just another game. So, I'll be contemplating, and in the meanwhile everybody pray my hard drive isn't dead, hehe. Armok, draw me up a hard drive restoration rod +4
So, any ideas for a forum game to take over this one? Requirements:
- very quick to type up a turn. 1-2 sentences per person, or if only a few play and others have some other effect on the game, it could be more.
- setting changes, if any, shouldn't be long either. Same as other people I suppose.
- Statuses and such should also be brief. So no coming up with really complicated messes
Other than that, anything goes. What does everyone feel like? I feel awful for the constant turn loss and stuff.
