How much like reality is the wildlife of this world? Did it evolve? If so, do we know that it did? Was it evolution by natural selection? Do we have genes? What's the vehicle of inheritance? Is it anything like Mendelian inheritance?

My character would want to know these things.

Yea, what I wondered about if this is all normal in the world. I mean, we seem to take a living skeleton and a bird for granted. And I'd say that, say, the archeologists and Casimir are about twohundred years apart. Not to mention Zak or Dux. Or pretty much everyone.

 Astor is almost as fast as a giant bird. He knows how to almost double his speed.

 If I can think of a few more speed-boosters, Astor might eventually be able to break the speed barrier. If Vaiolis gets reckless, he might even get faster than time.

He picked a really high speed stat at character creation. I tried to keep mine non-exceptional to justify being able to breath water.

As it turns out, I had a family gathering to go to today. Fairly busy at the moment, and have been for a while, and probably will be for a while more. Might finish, but now I doubt it. I'm sorry, really. A good amount is done, so if I keep working at it, it should be done by, say, Tuesday or Wednesday or so. I hope...
