a stone bed, made out of a crazy stonecrafter's desire to make stone beds from clear zircon. the damn thing is worth TEN dwarfbucks! TEN!

Luckily my dwarves love to sleep on it. It'll make for a good 'counseling unit', which will involve airlock food and water, legendary rooms, etc. Maybe that name DID make sense.

I thought artifacts have a X multiplier that would have prevented anything even close to that value-less from being made. I don't suppose you are using a modded version, where the ingredients are worth nothing?

Does it actually say "made of rock"? Because that would be a bug.

Seriously, this entire THING can't be anything but a bug except maybe for some extremely weird modding scenario.

Rock blowguns are fine, pipe sections of ice are great.

If I recall correctly, which I probably don't, 'Rock' is the template for real rock like alunite or bauxite.
Sometimes this screws up if stuff isn't referenced correctly, and you end up with 'Rock', which has no value and weighs so much (In it's pure form) you wonder why it isn't crashing through the floor.

 Rock is a generic stone made from undefined rock. It is worth nothing and had a ridiculously high weight. Thus an artifact made from it would be useless.

Your thinking about "The Trippy Island of Awesome" in bug reports. It happened when the person edited out aquifiers.

what's weird is that I did this without mods or editing in the current version, yet my dwarf somehow turned CLEAR ZIRCON into a 'rock' bed at a CRAFTSDWARF'S workshop. you don't bring gems to a crafting shop, much less turn them into leather sofas!

Barbarossa which version are you using? 40d? 40d5? 40d42?
