I need more wars!

I've modded in a civilization that I placed near water spots, since they were going to be murlocs, but I changed them into this.

I need them to go to war with other civs, they refuse too. Hell my other civilization I modded to act like kobolds(they are coldbolds) goes to war more than them, and that is barely any time.

Answer to your problem
[ITEM_THIEF] means that they attack based upon thievery and will not actually enter a war, remove this and they should go to war

other problems
[PEARL] currently does nothing as pearls don't exist yet and is only for edible vermin anyways
[FISHITEM] and [GNAWER] are for vermin creatures only

Play with ethics. Make them lie and steal and murder and let them torture and eat dead enemies... you'll see them go to war, or at least get warred upon.

Didn't work, I also took away skulking, becuase that would be a dumbass idea for a warring race.

Play with ethics. Make them lie and steal and murder and let them torture and eat dead enemies... you'll see them go to war, or at least get warred upon.
Trying now.


EDIT: Had about two or three wars, they won every battle. I though that was weird, so I go in as an adventurer, I had metal weapons. Seems they couldn't get wood so they somehow created metals...
I set them to have gem and stone prefrences now, they also can mine.

EDIT2: Holy shit, very effective(I added Tree Cap Diplomacy)! They come in massive numbers now!(More than elves), yet they still use fucking metal weapons, not the stone and gem ones I asked for. They must be able to become alchemists, since they somehow turn stone and gems to metal, without any forge to do so. Awesome.

Now my last question, weaken them, or keep them as they are?

What about a strong army that attacks en masse, like the orcs?

And, just to be constructive: I think that everyone gets to use iron, and (like many things) they can do things off-screen that they officially can't do. What is their Entity entry like? You may be able to get them to stop using metal weapons by taking away their weaponsmith and armorsmith roles. It's also possible that you'd need to give them improved_bows, like elves, to force them into wooden weapons. I don't think you can normally make stone or gem weapons, though, apart from obsidian.

They can only settle near water, that is how I cured that problem.

I'd rather them be this way, it makes it seem as though they can preform alchemy, and I want to release this race, so it would help the backstory, but if it must be weakened, it must be done.

They were supposed too, I was going to balance that with short lives.

I think 25:50 sounds good.

Edit: I changed it to 50:75, they are not as badass towards humans, but they can repel the elves easily, some sites become under-populated. I guess 75:100?

Never played fallout, so I wouldn't know. I designed these as murlocs from Warcraft, but I decided to make it orginal.
