((yeah, i think we should reset the game. but dont use a 'simplified' version of the ruleset, either all or none. taking only a part of it might cause yet more balance issues. although we might need to modify some parts, not really simplify.))

((EDIT: Also, if we all start as low-level gods according to those rules, i guess we'll need a pre-existing world as we wont be powerful enough to create one. thus, we definitely need a gm))

((One problem with that ruleset is the simple fact that, D&D RULES FTW?
I have no idea what they are talking about.
Although the underlying rules look fine. The whole god-level thing looks good; and the extended actions mean less "I do this for this many points" followed by, "wait, you can't do that for this". Also the overriding system prevents a "Yaven'Gan is cheating!" followed by "Seal him ina brick!"
But does this game really need you to say, I'm a level 19 fire-chaos-elemental-sword-sorcerer, so I can cast *blablabla*?

If that ruleset was taken without removing (most of) the need for knowing advanced D&D rules, I wouldn't play. But I support the underlying rules, and if I am the only person who doesn't know them, I won't stop you, in fact I would find it interesting to watch.

And it is time for reseting the game. Over 870 posts have frightened of new players, and old players are dropping like flies))

(When I wrote simplify I meant remove the whole D&D-classes thing. I don't see any point in a god being a "level 18 fighter", and I don't think that creating a new concept or organization should create new classes, if you create magic people can become wizards, easy as that.

As for the other D&D rules, if we can come up with a simpler system we can just use that instead of them.)
