((For Insurgo: ))

The giant golem shattered and broke, until only its very essence remained. That, the ennemy could not destroy, and thus this tiny part escaped, back to the main citadel of the gemchildren following Zyenild.

((So the golem is broken, but its regenrating essence has gona back to my 'home-base' and will stay and regenerate there. You can take the pieces of the golem's shattered body and rebuild them as you wish, but without the essence, they are magicless, and thus you'll have to use your powers as a god to create a new artifact (ie spend 3PP) and it wouldnt be using my own magic. Remember, I have full control of the flows of magic anyways, so anything you attempt using my arcane magic is useless. you have to use your own god powers.))

Zyenild streched his hand to the heavens, and carefully picked out some of the stars without disrupting the flows. He shared his pickings with the gos with him, "These should be enough for the comming battle, do with them as you wish." And with that, he called to Fan-Hondak, and took the Staff of the Archmagus from him. He kept Fan-Hondak back to lead the gemchildren armies while he entered Nessus with the other gods.

((so my bonus is +7 instead of +8, since i only took one artifact and i'm not taking my exarch to the demon realm))

With a final shudder, the broken remains of the golem stopped. The gemchildren cheered, and rushed out onto the cave floor. Insurgo investigated the remains, but the spark of magic which kept it alive had gone. It was nought but rubble now.
"Have prospecters take the pieces containing high metal concentrations to the forges. Gems to the granaries. Clear the rest, prepare the farms"
Insurgo turned to the horsemen, who had shrunk to a more conventional size.
"Go forth and act as you will. I shall call upon you when neccesary"
They nodded, and they rode up into the air, dissapearing through the cavern's roof.

The horsemen went forth, and a time of corruption descended upon every race in primordia.

((Deal with the horsemen as you will, but know that deal with them you must. For if left unchecked, they shall surely reduce the world to a giant free-for-all brawl. Or, worse, a reflection of modern society!

But people, why so harsh on Yaven'Gan? He's lost, just think up some vague punishment. Godly punishments, like doing accounting. Of the dead's souls!. Someone has to do it. Weighing hearts against feathers may be symbolic, but not very fair.

Poltifar: Yeah, the mysteries of magic are yours alone.. for now. ))

Xiuthagurbhahwauhwa sort of ineffectually runs into the portal with his army, which is much more enthusiastic. He is swept away by the tide of cheering souls, and does not get a chance to respond to Apura Khon's comment.

The Dead discover that they could not enter the portal, however. But that's okay, because they don't want to enter the stupid portal anyway, so there. Xiuthagurbhahwauhwa runs in alone, clutching The Mattock of The Underworld.

Sensing something amiss, Xiuthagurbhahwauhwa tip toes backwards, out of the portal and to his disheartened army. He watches from outside to wait for the battle to commence.

((The God-Forest thing is too good to pass up, even if it is sort of out of character. Brace for portal close off. I might run in later, but I doubt he'll try and close it without all of us inside.))

(Lost? Not yet...)

The attacking gods noticed a large pile of recently arrived human slaves next to the portal as well as a few dozen demons digging around in the pile trying to make them stand up and get in order. They were not having much success though, and during the whole ordeal they cursed and muttered. They were quite surprised by the arrival of the gods and ran away.

Suddenly, with a bright flash, Yaven'Gan appeared on the road leading to his tower. He said nothing, simply looked angrily at the attacking gods. Something felt wrong about him...

Zyenild observed Yaven'Gan. Then, he summoned the power of the stars and flung a spear of light towards the evil god, to assess the situation and see what he was hiding.

The spear pierced through Yaven'Gan's left arm, getting stuck in it. He simply pulled it out, looking even angrier than before.

With the coming of the first horseman, Apura noted that the Moon Children were beginning to fight over their possessions--that is, pretty rocks. Then came the second, and these conflicts extended to those areas thought best for basking. With the third, those engaging in these internecine conflicts began to fight merely for the sake of fighting, to better render themselves able to dominate the others. And with the last, the downtrodden being forced into the dark began to question their formerly peaceful existance.

Apura sighed, not quite annoyed, but still saddened. These were things that had to come in time, but they were all premature for the young, innocent race. Few members of it would be able to enjoy their childhood, now, as she'd intended. Still, though this corruption darkened their character, it also strengthened them, and for that she was glad. Prosperity would follow...

As Nel'ulos was sorting through all the souls helping them get to the areas designated by the god of the underworld, a colossal figure stepped into the underworld. "ah, you must be urs giant. so is the battle proceeding well? come on let me get you settled into your new home." and as the giant was led into the depths of the underworld Nel'ulos couldnt resist a peak at the battle. the gods weren't there anymore except for Xiuthagurbhahwauhwa. he hoped this was a good thing.

"Yaven'Gan! We have come for you to answer for crimes against sentient creatures! Surrender, and you will be punished lightly. Do not, and we will have to take you by force, resulting in a harsher penalty.

What Say You?"

"Crimes? I have committed none. You, on the other hand, are guilty of many. The murder of a god, for example.

What do you have to say for yourselves?"

"'The needs of the many are greater than the needs of the one.'

Do not be innocent in all this, because of you, and only you, millions of inncoents have been killed, or enslaved to toil in the harsh fields of your world till they drop.

We however have protected the many, while fighting against those who wish to harm the innocents. If Neu'los couldn't see thefolly of his ways, killing innocents on behalf of you he wouldn't be dead. His death was unfortunate, but it had to happen.

Under your direct command your demons committed henious acts against innocents, those who never provoked you and were not ready to defend themselves. You pounced upon an virgin primoridia, thrusting your attack direct into the lifeblood of it.

The people.

In the eyes of us, and many of the innocents in the world, you have committed henious crimes. crimes that musn't go unpunished. how severe the punishment is, howver up to you, surrender or fight, what say you?!"

"You claim that I was in command of the demon army, and yet I was not the one giving them orders. I simply did not stop them from leaving Nessus. They attacked Primordia on their own accord.

Again you blame me for crimes that I have not committed, without even a shred of proof that I had anything to do with it. Why is it that you are so quick to judge, is it due to guilt? The fact that you sent millions to die for a cause they did not support? Did you even stop to ask your servants if they wanted to fight, to give their lives for people they do not know, or did you simply tell them that it is what they shall do?"

Zyenild couldnt help chuckling. "Haha, that's a mighty good one. We came all the way here, to fight this god, and now, no one's sure WHY anyone is fighting anyone? Well i dont care. I blame it all on Yaven'Gan. Wether he is telling the truth or not, and I greatly doubt he is, he was the one who created these demons in the first place, and filled them with evil and greed and wish for destruction. He also opened the portal to this world from theirs. If this isnt enough to make you guilty, then what about the fact you didn't stop them once they started? That in itself is a crime. No matter. I came here to stop you. WE came here to stop you. And that is what we will do."

"I created them, that is true, but I did not fill them with evil, that is Insurgo's doing. And I did not open that portal, that was also Insurgo. He is the instigator of this war, not me.

He has corrupted your people as well, Zyenild, has he not?"
