"Who says we can define evil at all? More importantly, why would we ever need to?"

"How will you expect to control them? They seem to be better than us. If all of them have a personality theres bound to be a number of like minded individuals who rebel against us."

"You're plan is grand indeed. However, I wish these beings of godlike potential to not exist in the realm of Primordia. I request that they shall never be allowed to leave this 'hub'. Also, they may seem perfect, yet they would still be unable to grasp the concept of what a 'god' truly is or how one functions. I simply warn you against actions that may cause harm to this realm."

"If we act benevolent and follow the wishes of our followers, nobody would in their right-mind rebel. And if they do, the other individuals within society will stop them.

As for the problem of evil, I say that we should let us focus on the positive and not create the concept of Evil...even if we can define evil. Evil is bad after all, and I don't think anyone would desire to see it exist."

"Axiom, why would you ever even want to create those things? I mean, what's the point? They just seem massively uninteresting. We can do better. We're gods, after all."

"If there is no concept of evil given to mortals, they could commit truly unspeakable acts of blasphemy, or even worse, since you granted them this ability destroy matter, without any mortal being caring at all."

yes, what exactly happens if one with a care-free personality decides to destroy primordia for fun? we definitely ned to keep every single one of these beings inside the hub. none should know about primordia or anything outside the hub.

(Yes Life exists already, as well as several sources life can feed on, see this post.)

Taking the specifications into account, Etom Enol turned back to Axiom.

"I fear I am not able to fulfill my task if these creatures are to survive a long time outside the perfection of the Hub. However I will try my best to form such consciousnesses.

But may I propose an addition to your specification, as that the deity of existance reigning over a plane one of those creatures is located on may decide what form that creature should prefer on that plane.

Furthermore, they shall be weak and corruptible like all the other life when not within the Hub or one of the Hub's skies, as long as this sky is a plane of a deity of existence, as to console the other gods and make designing them a lot simpler, as they rival even my understanding."

(Edit: Armok/Axiom, if you are okay with this my PP is free.
'nother Edit: And the PP of Zyenild too, thehe.)

"But if we create the concept of evil, many people would be tempted to conduct thes acts of blasphemy, simply as a way to express deviance and rebel against society. Further, I can see somebody doing a loyal action, praising the gods, and then somebody else misinterpreting that action as blasphmey and killing that person. Entire wars can occur due to a simple misunderstanding.

To motivate people to the correct direction, it is better to just create the Concept of Good, or failing that, the Concept of "Fealty to the Gods". The people will obey us because they know it is the right thing to do, and they will not commit blasphemy or destroy matter."

"Yes, but how can we even define evil? I don't think we can. Can't we just define compassion, and instill it strongly in our creations?"

"Such is detrimental to the endurance of a species. Morals should be defined through need. If the Tevorim, for instance, were to obtain intelligence, they would most likely see geothermal energy and the earth as "good" and the oppressive cold of the underworld as "evil"."

Tevorim came to a conclusion.

"Axiom! you govern emergent systems, do you not? Perhaps this "good" and "evil" are emergent as well?"

"As for the unification of our powers - I am not reluctant to that suggestion, but of course the details have to be discussed. Also I cannot predict the decision of Zyenild. However, after the creation of the Hub there should not be much space for inconfidence, as we all would benefit from mutual cooperation."

Vibrating, Etom Enol turned over to Tevorak.

"As for this Good and Evil thing: This is just not rationale. But then again the whole creation was not in the first place. And while I am not directly opposed to new concepts, I will not help in the creation of such naivety. May others try their luck in bending reason for fear."
