Toady's Circumstantial Comfort Means a Better DF Tomorrow
« on: January 03, 2009, 01:48:35 pm »

A comfortable creative individual is an individual with more freedom to be in deeper creative states..  having all circumstantial concerns met, being well fed, having comfortable and enjoyable distractions every now and again, would all be conducive to Toady's creative powers being at their (amazingly powerful) highest potential at all times.

Therefore, give generously to the Great Toad, and the Great Toad will respond in kind.  Anyway, it's about time that he made a regular programmer's salary.  ;D  GIVE TO TOADY, OR PAY THE PRICE!

regardless, the slime shooter will be completed, come hell or high water, which are both entirely plausible setbacks at this point.

I've been wanting to donate for quite a while now, ever since I started playing. (Back in April, '08) No job, no income whatsoever... Yeah. Give it a few months, I'll have a job soon.  ;D

Well that's quite logical I guess?  ;D
I am a donator since I've found this wonderful game. The Great Toad deserves the support! Commercial "big" games are nowhere near as fun as DF...well perhaps some WoW/FPS/whatever fans would argue with me about this, but who cares.  ;)

most of those games are fast paced, an DF isn't anywhere near as fast as them when it comes to gameplay speed.

In the old days we would just mail Toady a couple slaves and be done with it.

Can I also add that people should not only give generously, but not be afraid to give if they can't give generously.

Paypal only takes 30 cents + 3%. That is not a lot of hard cash even though it seems a lot based on a 2 dollar contribution.

Basically I am condoning giving everything you do not need for shelter and food to the Toad.

I agree with this topic.

I think i could do a regular donation of €50 per month if i am not too busy spending monies on anything else :3.

So the more people Toady has working for him, the faster we get DF? Well, only one thing for it, then...

*Packs himself into a cardboard box*

I'm gonna need someone to mail me out, though.

Here's something I just discovered...

Paypal does NOT take any fees at all if you have a verified paypal account and transfer the money in from your bank account.  The fee only exists if you pay via credit card.  I just had some people send me money via this method and the entire amount arrived in my account.
