Failure to save due to full disk not reported
« on: January 03, 2009, 01:17:02 pm »

While playing, my disk filled up. Sometime after this point, I abandoned a fortress and returned to the main menu. The first item on the menu was "Create new world now!", as opposed to "Start playing" or "Continue playing".

Perhaps it should be noted when a game is unable to save due to a full disk and give an option to abort or retry.

Or maybe people shouldn't go around playing with full hard drives.

Ah, it was my RAM disk that filled up. My hard drives still have plenty of space.

Turning on infinite terminal buffers isn't good when there's infinite text output. The log file went to over 700M while I also had a movie loaded, along with Dwarf Fortress.
