Existing sites, new sites etc

Are we ever going to be able to retire a site without abandoning it? Perhaps even go as far as to save item positions so the countryside isn't littered with iron bars, turtle shell rings and dwarves when adventurers visit? At the very least have the inhabitants converge in the old meeting zones if saving stockpiles and item positions is too much

Being able to take over an existing site would be a nice feature as well. The human civ's capital being a few pathetic huts big just won't do but random generation can't make grand castles and other things worth seeing. If players were allowed to take them over and build our own things, we could make the world more interesting. Would go a long way in making it worth sharing your save files with other people so they can discover what kind of things you've built

Seawater working a bit differently would be a must though, as is any coastal keeps automatically fill with water and sharks and building an automated draining system for your basic Rapture ripoff might be too much to ask considering how hard it is to build underwater right now
