This game is awesome. I made it to the second level of that grassy area before dying in my most recent attempt. I tried to drain a pond by blowing it up, but I got stuck near the bomb because of a tree.

By the way, is there a way I can rob a non-weapon shop that any of you guys know of?

 Well, I eventually had the shortcut dug. Let me tell you, that REALLY opened up new possiblities for things to replace the GCS for RAAAAAAAAGE!

 I'm tempted to use the horizontal spike extenders when placed next to vital things. I mean jeez, I think 25 of my 75 deaths so far are from them.

 Hmm, now to somehow have thet shortcut to lvl 10 dug out. This is hard, as now whenever I see the idol or the Damsel I say 'nuts to it' and head straight to the exit.

Rob a weapons shop, get the gun. Then sneak up on the shop keeper when hes not looking and kill him.

Its not too hard to avoid the shop keepers, you just have to use some covert tactics and not just jump in guns blazing.

ARG! I know what you mean! Those things are rediculous! Gah I just blow them up to avoid the risk.

Lately I've just had to jump off and hope I can grab the rope before I hit the ground.

I think thats the only way. It cant be that hard to just press up when your falling right?

Oh I hate those toads, their so damn hard to hit. Their always in the most awkward places...

Just pick up a pistol or shotgun and shoot the shopkeeper

pistols WONT work on the shopkeepers they will blast you with their shotgun before you can get off another bullet, AND of course the pistol isent 1 hit kill on them so its not worth the risk.

My one minor complaint about the game is the music.  It's too uplifting for a dark cave setting.  It needs a darker, spookier tone.

Mine two, but for the reasons that it is just annoyingly repetative. I am REALLY tempted to remove it and put in my own.

Anyway I made it to the third world before...

its a ice world and theres a alien that does insta kill lasers... but I dident get past that.

 The flying enemies of the third world blow up explosively.

 Only time I got there I learned that sad fact. And died from it.

 Also, starting from the shortcut really limits the money you have and thus the amount of bombs you have.

Good advice for the flying enemys, as for the shortcut... I almost never use it, but guess Ive learned to just rush for the exit in the grass world, usualy avoiding most dangers. Im really to impatient with this game. I need to take my time and think things through though.

Yeah, I've been trying to do that too, but some tiny facet of it always escapes me and I end up being killed.

Yeah, for me the biggest problem in the grass world is the giant drops... often my inner want to conserve ropes overcomes my inner want to NOT DIE for some reason and I decide to just jump down, even if I have only one health.

Oh yeah I just figured this out... If your EVER find a jetpack, take it NO MATTER WHAT. It is the most usefull item in the game and even beats the shotgun, I used it to beat the third world... And this is what I found in the fourth...

Heh, I just found a good way to kill a shopkeeper even IF you dont have a shotgun handy, all you need is sticky bombs(witch are much easier to get may I add.) Anyway just throw the sticky bomb the EXACT spot underneath where the shop keeper is standing, if you need to be sure throw two. He will be dead and not only will you get the items, but you will get his shot gun.

 Huh, what is the point of the kiss shop? I press 'P', but nothing happens. Also, if you pick up the girl and drop her, she runs out and the shopkeep tries to shoot you.

Does your health go up?
Anyway you could blow a hole somewhere infront of the shop, pick up the lady and drop her and then run down the hole and wait for her to fall down on you. Then run as fast as you can tword the exit. Thats what their for.

Shop keepers in the future arent so much of a problem as they seem, just stay away from their shops and if you have stickybombs kill them from below for their items and if you have a shotgun sneak up on them and blast the shit out of em. Either way the price for that kiss is insane, and the price for the woman is insaner.

Heheh been playing this game for a while got 200 deaths and still haven't managed to get much past world 2.
