Now, I know there was a reaction somewhere on the wiki that gave wood from nothing, but I cant for the life of me find it.

If anyone could give me a few pointers or the actual raws required, that'd be nice. Thanks.

you don't need the [REAGENT] tag for it to work.

And by this, he means create a new world AFTER adding the reaction, and then start a new game in it.

Also, yeah, the empty REAGENT isn't needed (although the game will probably just ignore it).

The game does just ignore it, although I think it spouts missing token carp in the error log.
Leaving it out completely is best.

You can remove the reagent tag and change the product tag in an existing reaction, and then you won't have to create a new world. One of the pewters or adamantine is probably your best bet, unless you have adamantine.
