40d5 is much slower then 40d (edited post)

Not sure if this is the correct forum to post this in.

When i was using 40d, i was getting a good 200FPS the whole time when i first start a map.

How ever now with 40d5, when my people are standing still FPS is fine, but as there moving around and doing things, it drops down to 140FPS give or take. After they start moving for it a little bit it jumps between 140 and 200 at times.

It never use to do that. It did drop a small bit in FPS, but never 60fps for 7 people and a 3x3 map.

I have a pretty good computer too now also.

Pentium D 3ghz with 512 cache, 2 gigs of DDR2 667 ram, My hard drives a bit slow however heh. Also i have a nvidia geforce 7300 with 512megs of ram.

So well it was running a lot better before the new 40d5 version, i don't know about versions 40d1 to 40d4, i didn't test them.

Well hope this helps at all.

Are you sure your settings are the same in the new version as in the old? For example, things like grid settings and partial print?

Yes i copied my old init file to the new install folder.

I copied all of my custom Raw Files, Graphics, Saves and init folder files, all to the new version of the game.
