Thinking I might join this, but I have very little rhyming skill. If I can overcome this barrier, I'll probably join.

Edit: Oh, What the hell, I have enough spare time to waste on rhymes. Just forgive me if they're a bit unwieldy.

Name: Paul Baker
Style: Limerick/ general / humurous
Instrument: Fife
Bio: A struggling poet during his life
Paul Baker's masive spending was rife
And eventually he fell to a mobster's knife
Now he's back, and with a fife!

There, that wasn't too bad (I hope).  ;D

Is there space to join this fun
or is this match already done?

Name: Wehtam
Style: Epic poetry/what ever I come up with
Instrument: Mad whistleing and snapping skills
and he does it just for thrills.
Bio: Average Joe...nothing to know.

Two steps forward one stumble back
I try to brake through the door crack.
The meal within
is worth the din,
when I brake it down
they grimace and frown.

What did you all go and order a dead guy for?

Jay, your poetry may be long,
But length really doesn't make prose strong.
If your rhymes sounds bad when you put them in song,
Chances are you are doing it wrong.

*solemn harmonica riff to lead off*

come in and come dine.

Rhyming is not my strength, that I am the first to admit.
I think that it would be best if I just quit.
Therefore I have decided to not participate in this game
so that none can claim that I am to blame
if this game turns out to be rather lame.
However, I hope that it does not.
That it turns out to have an interesting plot,
filled with adventure and danger
and many a mysterious stranger.

A shadow that lurks
A shadow glides across the floor
It opens a door
It hungers for more
It enters a camber
A sleeping child there lie
It bends over the cradle
she opens her eyes
A scream of agony and fear, suddenly cut of

Can such a thing ever die?
For as long as rhymes fly
The thread'll continue, on the sly
And rhymes, I can suply.

Not rythem though,
my posts have problems whit flow.

You're fine, the form is simple or it's not
But you just have to work with what you know.
The sonnet is the only form I've got,
I guess it's good enough, for here, to show.

But when the time is ripe, and moon is full,
Dead threads arise to haunt the forum's ground.
Their calls you hear, and then you feel the pull,
To rediscover that which has been found.

And then you see it, standing 'fore your eyes,
The topic, known, but strange in mind's new sight
The resurrection cast, and told to rise,
And so the thread returns to haunt the night.

Shun not the dreaded necromancy here,
It only lives to feed upon your fear!

I am nowhere near
Internal fear
as we are the undead here.

Now as suprising as it may be
There's one form i do splendidly.

It's tough to get without the tune
Although I'm crazy as a loon

I'm not a bad bard when in the zone,
But this song's for one thing alone.

'Tis a song for marching all the day
This is my fifth jo-od-ay.

You've gotta repeat every verse
Else the pace shall be cursed.

Needs a few more stanzas. Jodies are my specialities. I wrote a good insult one once.

Penguin once wrote an amazing (and rhyming) epic poem about my moms cooking once...he needs to finish part two though.
Just thought you should know.
