Can't embark with seeds?

I've been doing a lot of modding lately, I've made my own civilization, nothing spectacular, a little OP, but hey.

I've come across a little problem. When I generate a new world and embark to a place, when I go to choose my items, seeds are not listed there.

Neither is cloth and rope.

Has anyone ever encountered this? I had it come up earlier, and I was playing with settings more, but it's come up again and I can't seem to fix it.

Is this a common or well known thing? I couldn't find any other threads about it.

There is no errorlog generated at all.

I would say your civ is lacking a [FARMING] type tag. Either indoor or outdoor.

No, I have the indoor farming tag in my entity file.

This problem keeps resurfacing and it's really bothering me that I can't figure out the cause. Has anyone else experienced this?

Not much different than dwarves really. A little larger, can see in magma, don't breathe.
The raven crossbow uses crossbow skill for melee instead of hammer.

I have embarked with this race and bought seeds before fine. I don't believe I made changes when the errors came up. I really don't know what causes them.

Hmm...

This is just a hunch, but temporarily change their starting biome to MOUNTAIN and see what happens.

regardless, the slime shooter will be completed, come hell or high water, which are both entirely plausible setbacks at this point.

I wish they could fly, but not yet. Apparently it causes them to panic when they leave the ground.
