I made a Movie!! (Dwarf Fortress ROCKS!!!)

I had alot of fun making it, so I hope you have fun watching it!



The music is Requiem for a Tower just to let you guys know.  It's overused yes, but it's still awesome.  Also, this is my first video on youtube.

Needs more DF in motion instead of a bunch of stills panning around with really, really, really long subtitle cards.    Couldn't sit through the whole thing, really.

If I knew how to put videos in a would, but I think pictures are fine. I planned on putting videos, but it didn't work out well.

Ah well, I call this a good attempt anyway.  :D
If you would like to make a "proper" movie in the future, with in-game, real-time cutscenes etc, you can even find free video editing tools on the net.  :)

You could also try putting text in with the images instead of having cutouts every time you want to say something.

the text get annoying, maybe you shouldnt use it on a dark screen just on the maps and scroll over to the next one in some flashy way.
and you should make a roadmap in the movie description for people dont playing DF. like 00:30 an ambuh from goblins 00:45 a blood bath battle 1:00 the deadly carp (the times are just something not related to the video)

I enjoyed it, but it would be sweet if there was a scene of a goblin and dwarf war video.

Around 1:20 I stopped caring as I noticed that you were using every single wipe possible.

Though the fort at 4:40 is sweet.  Where'd you get that pic?
