You know the old saying. Elves are only good for two things. Dying and porn.

I played as a dog. I took a quest to kill a giant, and fought a giant mole. I kill it, and decide to go back to town and retire. I go back as a human adventurer, and the dog is there (but I can't talk to it) and it's wearing a Giant Mole leather earing.

Edit:
Oh god, I just loaded up and I'm decked out in GCS silk

Just tried playing as a Spirit of Fire.  First started out in human town.  Layed waste to the Inn, then went after the Giant I was hired to slay (by the mayor, as he was burning).  After a brief struggle, the Giant exploded my torso.

Second SoF started in a dark tower, and the first creature I ran into was a Speardwarf.  He slew me in three turns.

Then Play Now! landed me in, of all place, an Elven Retreat.  Hilarity ensues.  And ensues some more.  When I couldn't find any more elves to dance around, I went to a river and boiled a few dozen carp, then got bored again.  I retired in the Retreat, then embarked a fortress on it.  Nine elves left, and one friendly Spirit of Fire, right next to the wagon.  Somehow, all I lost to boiling booze was a cat.

Does anyone else think it's really kickass that creature's tags translate into adventure mode even if they aren't supposed to be playable?

We maim and slaughter everyone in the most bizzare ways thinkable without compassion. Don't we always play as monsters?

Boiling Booze? That sounds like a kick ass name for a band. A dwarven band!

AWESOME! goblins are riding raptors!

That is such a more awesome mental image than gobbos riding around on big dogs.

That's not exactly a glitch. Members of your species are called peasants if they have no skills.

Huh.  I always imagined them being like gorillas, with the goblins in baskets on their backs.  Raptors are pretty cool too though.

I've noticed that Bronze Collossuses (Collossi?) are completly immune to pain, eye-gouging, and dismemberment. It's fun to bludgeon thing with your severed leg.

I am currently modding in a race of space cowboy robots that ride giant mantises and have guns that shoot veloceraptors.
...
The "riding" part is currently prolbmatic.
