Copy Stockpile Format
« on: December 27, 2008, 09:04:56 am »

Would be a neat little feature to have when making custom stockpiles.  You'd have the option of selecting an existing stockpile and copying its settings to your custom stockpile window, so you can quickly designate your new custom piles without having to go through the process of selecting and de-selecting everything you need (and often forgetting some in the process.)

Very good idea, in some of my more recent fortresses, I've been experimenting with vertical stocking. Most of them are fairly customized too so this'd help a lot  ;D ( resizing'd be nice, but well, you already can resize one way.... smaller. Don't see as much need for resizing, re-making sounds more usual and cleaner to me )

A useful feature for managing a lot of stockpiles would be an option to turn off storage of a particular item in all other stockpiles. Very useful if you are gradually splitting up your initial very broad stockpiles into progressively more specialized ones.
