Failed artifacts.

Let us say, hypothetically, that once in a while a fey mood dwarf's skills just aren't quite up to snuff... and this life's work that they set upon doesn't turn out quite as they had hoped.

Why don't we find some examples of what it'd look like for a fey mood dwarf to pull a Molyneux!

I'll start:

"The Board of Poking"
This is an oak mace. All craftsdwarfship is of the lowest quality. It menaces with spikes of steel. It is encirlcled with bands of filth.

Anyway it would be nice to see some malformed Artefacts in the game.

It would! In fact, it would be even more awesome if dwarves who couldn't get all of the ingredients or were interrupted wound up producing a malformed, aborted artifact and then going melancholy or berserk as a result of their failure. It would add a lot of "flavor".

Obviously it would need to have a much crummier value than usual and be of a quality level that wasn't nearly as epic as usual.

Actually a large portion of deviantart is also really poorly done crayon drawings, and photos of flowers.

The only thing i can draw half-well are mountains, and even then, only on chalk boards.
