Yeah, I bet afterwards we can launch him and his drill into space on a makeshift nuclear missile, so that he drills into an incoming asteroid right in front of the nuke, and detonates the asteroid from within, causing it to split into two neat chunks and fly right past us. Would be juuuust right. :)

Nononono, we shoot Harry at a space rock heading towards AMERICA and drill it so the pieces burn up in the martian atmosphere, thus warming the planet.

 THINK people!

Or better yet, we send him on a rocket into the asteroid belt. He finds an ice asteroid there, and uses a nuke to shove it in the direction of Mars while we build a bunker to survive. The asteroid hits, making the planet rotate faster and thus creating a magnetic field by the reverse effect - the planet will start spinning faster than its core, effectively making the core spin relative to the planet. Plus it will introduce a lot of water after crashing, because the ice will melt.

Sounds like pseudoscience to me, as it doesn't involve reversing the polarity.

But it does. Normal planets have the core spinning along with the crust, this is going in reverse with the core spinning opposite of the crust. Reverse polarity.

Very nice.

Did I mention I'm lazy?  Yeah.  I'll be done today.  Swear to God, I've had the actual results done for a couple days now, just trying to find time and energy to write all the stuff that goes with it.  Don't worry.

Now In Contact
Trippy is sitting in a control tower, keeping about ten people in contact over one radio channel.  So far, all conversation has been breathless greetings and condolences, and fruitless attempts to compare locations to find each other.  Dietrich has gone out of range, and Andrezj hasn't reestablished contact.  Known commodities: Qwerty, Strife, Tetsuo, Augusta, Vernon, and Vladimir can all move about; Rosie, Serg, Pitor, Louise, and Geoffrey can get moving with some notice; Harry is in his Auger; Sean has no suit, but is in control of some robots; Qwerty is with Roy and Shideh, but they can't go outside; and Trippy himself can't go anywhere either.  No one knows where anyone is except themselves.

The Next Turn
For conversation's sake, and Kallev's imminent danger, let's call this one five minutes.  I'll absolutely be able to do a turn on Monday(/Tuesday, but really Monday).

"Well hello, fellow crashladed comrades. I can't believe I'm so happy to hear all of you at once."

Sean wastes no time despite being happy to talk to fellow survivors. Even as he maintains audio contact, he uses his remote eyes to scan the landscape for movement or wreckage he can recognize.

<ooc>Btw, the List has me listed in the Robotics bay, while the section itself is called "Exploratory Lab". Also, it's listed as having "Some Power", but with the solar panels plugged in there should be if not abundant, then at least a few days' worth of power.</ooc>
