I got many different presents from the various family members/friends/girlfriend, but the "best" is a golden necklance. It's just pure awesomeness. Actually the medal itself is a golden battleaxe and there are skulls on the handle of the axe. I've got it from my uncle, he knew that I love the fantasy weapons... ;D [I can make a picture about it if someone is interested, it's really a masterpiece.]

Merry Christmas to everyone here on the forums and a special greeting to Toady, who probably got obsessed with the latest changes and won't realize he missed Christmas until tomorrow.

I got a nice coat to replace one that got stolen a few weeks ago and a new HD for my 360. I also got this cool shirt that lights up when there is a Wifi signal in the area. It's pretty cool :D

I got an electric piano, lots of DS and Wii games, a HDTV card for my computer, and Age of Empires 3. But, even with all these awesome new video games, I'll still probably spend most of my time playing DF. :P MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Ah god damnit...I don't have an USB cable for my mobile phone [I use that to take pictures], and I don't have a camera at all. This wasn't a problem when I used my old computer, but there are only USB ports in this new computer of mine.  ::)
Ah well I plan to buy a webcam anyway, so I will take some pictures later on.

If I wanted to recreate the world of one of my favorite stories, I should be able to specify that there is a civilization called Groan, ruled by Earls from a castle called Gormanghast.
You won't have trouble supplying the Countess with cats, or producing the annual idols to be offerred to the castle. Every fortress is a pale reflection of Ghormenghast..

I got a few things. Some clothes, a bunch of books, but there's only one that matters.

A copy of Frank Herbert's Dune.

I've been looking for one for two. fucking. years.

Nothing.

Because in Russia there's no "western" christmas. We have similar holiday but it's after the new year and more religious than social so there're usually not too many presents :(.

P.S. But we have "ded moroz" ("grandpa frost") in the new year instead of your Santa :P.

A Yamaha bass guitar. It's shiny and red, not sure what model. Has good pickups though.
The highway code. Mmm, road safety.
Some generic chocolates and sweets.
£60
the QI "F" annual
Tolkein book, not sure which one. Set around the period where Silmarillion occurs, all sorts of giant evil monsters and so on.
some damn socks and other squishy presents.
