Christmas is not the day Jesus was born.
It is at this time to celebrate the Winter Solstice.


Anyway, I am not a Christian, I even have problems with them (Not going into that again) but I still celebrate Christmas.
Why?
Its a holiday of family, food, fun and affection, and I find it the most cheerful day of the year.

So, lets all just celebrate Santa Claus, and have a merry Christmas.

Hullu, OP here! I just want to say, I LOVE THIS THREAD, great read guys! So much humour, cynicism, and still, under all, a good heart! The only thing we're missing is a drawing of a christmas tree decorated with !!kittens!!, DF style!

Anyway, yeah, Christmas is all about
* Food
* Presents
* Lounging around, eating more food
* Food

Optional side orders:
* Religion
* Berserk commercialism
* Ungodly debauchery

Anyway, still one day of celebration left, I'm gonna be so friggin' bloated... *grin*

I like Christmas except for the part where I just dragged my butt out of bed really early because we're driving an hour and a half to see family (that part is good) but I was hoping to get up early and have a shower but now my dad's in the bathroom taking forever :( :(

I got sweet presents though, a couple books and a Pineapple Thief CD. That's really all I want. Anything more and I feel like I'm selling out Christmas to the worst of American culture.

and I rip them up for several tricks.
I am rather talented at throwing them though ^_^

As for college, I got a mattress cover, comforter, and clean sheets.
Better than -pig tail socks- I suppose.

Underwear, 2 new shavers, Persona 4, the PS2 remake of KH chain of memories, a Jeff Foxworthy paperpull calender, and a lottery ticket worth 4 bucks.

EDIT: Oh and I gave away 6 free hours of tech support getting my folks' Ipod, digital cameras, and Printer working.  I swear that computer hates me.

Not a bad haul.  I was hoping for a custom firmwareable PSP but I'm satisfied :)
