You can trick shot through one of the doors to hit the moat walls, (I do this from inside the right side) and it will explode the corner wall.

And before you question my tactics, I was trying to make my red armor and BFG last until I face a Cyberdemon or Spider Mastermind; usually by trading off with green or blue armor, and repairing everytime I came across a megasphere or armor shards. I even modded it to be more durable. Those damn archviles and mancubi.

Kudos to ZChris for helping me early on.

UPDATE:

Just graduated to Demon rank.
Reached Level 3 in AoB (2 leevls to go)
Reached level 4 in AoM

I gotta get those 2 done if I want a promotion.

Yeah, I was just racking up kills for a rank upgrade. I wasn't really playing seriously. Plus, I was mostly speed-running it, since it was pretty late already.

Love this game; just got my first decent game with ammochain plasma rifle. Revenant+barrel+lava. Is there any decent strategy for Arch Viles other than standing behind a wall and hoping they don't move to a spot where they can see you?

 If you are going the Ammpchain route and you have a plasma rifle, mod the hell out of it so you can do as much damage as possible and kill them in three turns. If anything with dodgemaster then run up to them and pump as much damage into them as you can with your better speed. As far as I know everybody else is screwed unless you have a modified double shotgun and are right next to them.

Also agility mod with plasma rifle or you won't hit shit. It won't make too much of a difference, because by that point you'll be pumping out so much plasma you won't know what's what, but it helps.

I was going that route, then the cheap kill by the Mancubus. And I would've gotten him too. :shakes fist:

I guess I got too greedy with the medpacks and armor to use one.

The Jackhammer will shred them at range, but then it shreds most things. AotD and a combat shotgun might work, though it would be less enjoyable.

Currently on HELL 6 after shredding the Spider's Lair to pieces.

It was easy.

Ammochain build, found the BFG 10K.  Ludicrous amounts of damage.  I took the extra triggerhappies.  It's just silly, yeah.  Agility mods on Plasma gun and the BFG 10k.

For some reason, I have 2 nukes. WHY?
