Hey Sofia, remember yesterday when I told you about plasma shotguns and how since I was playing AoS that I really wanted to find one?

Incidentally, he is honestly called Shootgun because I found it less run-of-the-mill than shotgun. My mind works that way.

The only difference, as far as I am aware, is ammo and damage type. Plasma weapons penetrate armor, but so does any Shotgun with Army of The Dead. Once you get that skill, ditch the plasma shotgun for a double.

I BEAT IT! On my first playthrough of the new version, too. Admittedly, it was on ITYTD, but still.

Also, I found an ungodly number of uniques. The Jackhammer, Onyx armor, Missile Launcher, BFG9000 (I know it's always generated, but I rarely get it) and, to top it off nicely, a Railgun. Of course, considering the rest of my loadout was so good I only ever used the Missile Launcher and BFG  ;D

The bolded shows why you won.

 At HMP and above it ceases to be a game with actual difficulty curves and becomes a sadistic roguelike. It is no longer a game but a series of dice-rolls. If this difficulty curve is the same in the opposite direction, then I could likely win right now.

 Also: What the heck does the Hellstaff unique do?
