I recently managed to beat the game. Only because I found the Jackhammer, though. And went up against Cyberdemon with an invincibility globe.

I have yet to win, although I did finally get down to level 24. Too many enemies, and no more rockets or healing kits. Bad combo.

I'm much to impatient for rogue-likes, I think. I'm not as careful as I need to be.

Plasma rifle is better. Minigun can't hit shit. Get ammochain and put some accuracy mods on your plasma and you are GOD.

Well, the Plasma rifle (2A) is:
Fire time: 1.0s
Reload time N/A (ammo chain :3)
Accuracy: +4 (I have 2 Agility mods on it)
Shots 6
Damage: 1d7

Minigun (unmodified)

Well, the Minigun is a Unique (as opposed to a Chaingun), and probably better then a plain old Plasma Rifle. However, with the stats you have on those your Plasma rifle is probably better due to the accuracy.

Some of them are. I've done it!

They just aren't documented as being modifiable. For example, I had a Power mod on the Missile Launcher on a game last night. Did great until I ran out of rockets...
