Plasma misses too often. Which makes it almost equal to assault rifle. Still good to break walls, though

Add Accuracy mods to offset the crappy accuracy then. I'd use a Plasma Rifle any day since it does so much more damage per shot.

You cannot mod assemblies. So A mods on high-power plasma are not possible.
And I didn't tell, that it's worse than assault rifle. It's just not better enough to make any real difference in most cases. I still prefer good old 2A2P plasma to both of them

But I didn't say modding high-powered plasma rifles. I said modding plasma rifles. Ya know, the normal ones. I guess I worded that poorly.

Unless they changed it, the BFG10k is also affected by ammochain. So there is a stronger choice.

It's an unique, good luck for finding it though as the chance of it appearing must be extremely low considering how mighty it is.

It's randomly generated, so you can't really predict it.

I guess on a Ao100 challenge, in later dungeon floors you may increase chance to find it (as you would have found several random before certainly), or try a bonus level that has chance to generate uniques (Armory by example)

I've personally never found it before. Which is upsetting, since I almost always go Ammochain.
