"Adjusting" their route so they have to cross the Skeletal-Carp filled river then pass the Skeletal-Elephant filled forest is always good for a laugh.

"Yeah. My plan was to drop some kittens into the siege, and have my dwarves freefall into battle, landing on top of the kittens. The plan was kinda dumb though because the kittens were standing on grates, and the goblins killed them with arrows just as I was releasing the freefalling dwarves. So the dwarves weren't able to land on kittens and just fell and died."

Let's see Elves.

Great bow users, great outdoorsman and they are green ::). There is no reason not to like them.
If I could hire or lent one or two platoons of their bow users for defense or attack. I see no reason not to pay them with usefull crafts. I see a world conquerd and a deceased goblin race.  ;D

And if it would be possible for those Elves to change a barren biodome in a more usefull biodome. A muddied felsite rock with out trees into a tree rich enviroment. Where all crops are allowed to grow than I would realy like elves.

So give those elves the power of teraforming a designated area. This would give them a reason to be allowed in your fortress.

I set my goblins to reproduce like rabbits SUPAR MUTATED THINGS THAT MAKE BABIES ALOT and it is buckets and barrels and elephants of fun.

Seriously, that [IMPROVED BOWS] thing has WAY more effect than what the wiki suggests. Thank god they get generated with wooden swords as well.

Well... I made my ideas for elven redemption known on the first two pages over here and I'm going to go ahead and link them in. No use reposting and yet I don't want my ideas (driven that they are) buried on page eleventy-billion of the forums.

I'm probably restating what was said before, but oh well.

J'accuse!



Elves and goblins living together.  Mass hysteria!  And they're not those wussy tea drinking goblins like Anso.  These are hard raiding goblins.  I haven't had a raid with an elf in it yet, further proof that they're hidden and waiting for me to let my guard down.
