Graph of Outpost Astebtun, "Telldoor"
« on: December 19, 2008, 11:21:57 pm »

Here is a graph of the (future) river lay out of my current fortress.
Totally flat ground, with a magma pool with a magma man that I accidentally breeched.
Maybe I should make a graph of the chances that guy is gonna punch my expedition leader in the face.
Blue square = Starting Wagon
Blue line = 3 wide entrance straight into the ground
Currently only the river on the left exists.

It's a visual graph of the future river(s) that will surround my fort.
And there was no second picture...

Oh, i didn't realize i was supposed to understand the abstract art you placed before me. Just put in some cans of soup and melting clocks and we can throw it into a museum!

And their is clearly a little box for where a picture failed to show up. It has a URL and everything.

I have no idea why you decided to use spreadsheet program to draw your fort instead on MSPaint, but whatever.

Oddly enough, my cat approves of this method.  He's sitting on my desk trying to put his paw into the graph.

Actually I used a grapher, specifically Grapher, that is included with the newer mac book pros.

Helps me plan out my forts in ways I OCD.

Thought this was going to be a graph similar to Minard's graph of Napoleons army...But in Dwarf Fortress... And instead of graphing an army it graphs insanity

That wouldn't so much be a graph as it would be a giant shaded in area of insanity.  As you approach white, you approach sanity.  But this is Dwarf Fortress.  Your piece of shaded paper has no white left in it.  It is however covered in splashes of ichor blood from slime giants.  Yes, Dwarf Fortress, Super Sane!
