I was wondering, would it be possible to implement the sale of cars in LCS? Of course, it wouldn't be practical to just drive along to a pawn shop and sell your car, but what if we could turn a safehouse into a mini-dealership and sell our stolen cars there?

Advantages:

• Profitable in the long run
• Not many police would suspect a car dealership of hiding a group of political activists (Unless they find a stolen car there)

Disadvantages:

• Expensive to start up (hence why I said 'in the long run' up there)
• Stolen cars may get found and police may reclaim them

What? It would just be the best game ever. Selling cars may not be liberal, but stealing them is.

Right now, there doesn't seem to be much development of the safehouses.  Though, when it's decided that business fronts actually do something, other than seriously reduce heat, maybe "functioning car dealership" could be an option.

I'd still want the option of just dumping the cars at the local chop shop and moving on.  I know Jonathan has some neat ideas for cars, but it's a pretty low priority for him.  Not to mention he has a life other than programming LCS, so programming this game is also kinda low priority for him.

Well, if we want to talk about Liberal activities involving parked cars, there have been some environmentalist extremists who took to firebombing SUVs.

On a milder note, there's also those who "tag" them by adding "I'm changing the environment! Ask me how!" bumper stickers and the like.

Of course, I'd perfer to do the firebombing of SUVs.  But, I'd also like to not get arrested, so I'll stick to the bumper stickers, if I do anything.
