That sucks. I can't access Steam from a library computer, nor do I have the will(or finances, or credit card) to repurchase.

You can download there, or look at the page for that bundle, they have steam keys for cortex command there now. I have it on steam now.

I'm curious too.  I think I got it in one of the humble bundles, but I couldn't for the life of me figure out what I was supposed to do.

I've had trouble with the mouse being really slow in previous versions, and I want to make sure that's resolved before I shell out the 20 bucks.

Well the campaign is working and homebrew missions made with scripts work as well.

I suppose the AI would need a tiny bit of work tho...


However... imho the main source of fun here is building a giant fortress and fending off attack after attack (preferably with mods).

Wow, honestly thought that CC would cease development before 1.0. Glad they made good on the Steam key offer for people who got it in Humble Bundle 2.

Nah, DaTa doesn't strike me as the quitting type...


Although from the preview vid and the twitter updates it looks like 1.0 is going to feature even more viscous AI, a even more working campaign, and possibly a new scenario gamemode.

Multiplayer other than splitscreen isn't planned or done (other than hacky mods) as far as I know.
