you can already download b27 if you bought it from datarealms (that is official site) see forums, i think it's in usual place.
HIB users will have to wait a bit longer (i hope not much, also hope that linux HIB users will get it soon too )

Been playing the campaign for a bit, currently the two major powers are imperatus (me, uses the generic robots and zombies) versus the dummies. I think Ronin and browncoats are here too, but they haven't been able to take and hold any sites. I am somewhat upset by my faction's lack of heavy firepower, the fucking dreadnaughts are killer if you don't have some sort of explosive.

Avast works for me, and the personal/home version is free. Theres also pay versions with extra stuff.
