Damn.  How long do you think it'll be this time?

(Not that I have any right to wonder about delays of course.)

After a brief bint of being muted, I thought I would actually take some time in order to learn this game. So, since I got the basics down, I was wondering if I could be the fifth guy the next game.

If we somehow ever finish this one, you'll be on the list.

Eight fucking months, and I don't think we're even close to knocking out a player.

That's unfortunately what I was thinking. But hey, hopefully you luck out and manage to grind Al-Malik into the dirt. (No offense palazzo, but you seem to be on the losing side judging by the previous few posts.)

Ha! Woose1, but right now, I do the grinding. (well, not very much, but still)

As for the increasing interest in future games of EFS, that we've seen recently - perhaps it'd be sensible if all those people who'd like to join, simply started their own game? Let's see: woose1, Kejardon, nahkh, Wild Goose. Maybe chaoticjosh, Dwarmin or any other one of the people who watch this one. Shouldn't be that hard to get all five spots covered.

Can anyone guess what happened to the computer I fixed up to replace my previous broken computer?
guess 1: was it stolen?

Not a bad idea, actually. I guess some of us need some practice with the game mechanics though.

I certainly don't plan on playing a second game myself, despite the entertainment this has been.

Heck, if all you guys want to play yourselves, why not start another game?  If you need it, I'm sure we can all provide copies - EOFS being completely abandoned to the electronic gaming wilderness after all.

I already have a copy.
I'm game for a ... well, game.
I guess we should start by getting used to the game mechanics. Would you guys be willing to answer our questions on that? All tutorials and strategy guides have long since disappeared from the face of th e internet.

Would you guys be willing to answer our questions on that?
Anytime.

guess 1: was it stolen?
nope
guess 2: a fly laid eggs on the outside of your computer's air intake. One of the eggs got sucked in, and a new fly hatched from it inside your pc. There it flew to and fro, eventually deciding to land on the one unprotected point of your crazily overclocked graphics card, causing a shortcut and ending both it's own insignificant life, and the, much more significant, life of your computer. The end. Ah right, and it's soul went to hell for causing delays to our game. Soul of the fly, not the computer. PC's don't have souls. Probably.

Good news: my bro got a line on a dirt cheap used PC.  Hopefully, I'll have a new computer by the end of the week.

Are any of you guys interested in joining the second game starting up?  I think we have five in theory, but one player has never played before and that makes me wonder if he'll want to trudge through a game like this.

You'll notice, twice in this game we had to find replacement players.  I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Does delay things of course.  But I for one have all the fill I need from this game already.
