Edit: on a side note, I love this buggy, indescribable voting system.  At the start of my turn I get a message that hazzat has agreed to vote for me.  This is in addition to decados and myself.  So I should win the election.  But apparently not.  And does the game tell me how I lost?  Who voted for who?  Nooo....

Mainiac, this is the second time you've bribed the computer player into voting for you.  Unless you actually plan on appointing the AI to a Ministry, I'm gonna have to call that taking advantage of the system if you do it again.

For one thing, I'm not the only one to do this.  Il Palazzo has bribed (and won.)

And for a second thing, in both cases, I have promised ministries.

...Oh.  I figured that would be a "never even consider it" sort of nuclear option.  I stand corrected.

This requires correction. I have never bribed the AI to vote for me(though I tried), this explanation is just mainiac's interpretation of certain events that denied him the Regency some few elections back.

What, are you going to fake ignorance now? Turn 50, Byzantium, SEAL unit. Li Halan covertly tried to assasinate my noble on Byzantium. This is a major transgression of Imperial laws that requires at least some compensation.

Hardly an assassination attempt.  I saw an opportunity to have a complete assessment of your defense ability and took it.

:O Other people play this game? And I'm only... 5 months late to join in >_<
Any chance you guys can post more details or pictures for those that want to watch? At least for the less tactically sensitive stuff.

Is there really something that isn't somehow tactically sensitive there?
You can always download the latest save and check the situation for yourself.

You are welcome to join the next game though.  5 players would be awesomesauce.

Has it really been five months that we've been at this?

Turn's done.  Damn.

As Il Palazzo has been elected the Regent for a second term, the Galaxy looks forward to another decade of peace and prosperity. Or at least, prosperity. You never know what scheme the Li Halan are going to pull out.

turn done.

The ever seeing Imperial Eye has it's eyes on the situation on Malignatius:

We are bringing this to the attention of the Imperial fleet and the rest of the Imperial council. The nobles are not to be treated the same way as the common born.

We are sending out the emissaries to te houses of Al-Malik and Li-Halan. This has to be resolved by diplomatic means.
