a question: have you guys all just settled for the generic in-game names? 'cause I've got, for example, Li Halan represented by Chi Kao, while he referred to himself as 'Lord Wayne' in one of the posts.

Lord Wayne was the delegate to the senate.

If you are sending them to Chi Kao directly.  If they're sent to Wayne in the senate, go with the masculine.

Emailed the turn to Palazzo.  Sorry I haven't been up on the RPing.

Let it be known to all however, that the honorable House of Hawkwood has claimed Leminnaken as our protectorate.  No trespassing will be tolerated.

The politics of the Halan and the Malik is of little interest to us in this time of brigandage and disunity.  Instead, I have, as essence of the noble House of Hawkwood, taken it upon myself to ferret out strongholds of Rebellious sentiment on Delphi, and all other worlds within of dutiful guardship.

save emailed to mainiac.

As much as we, the al-Malik accept their claim to Leminkaneim, our Lord Il Palazzo wishes to know if House Hawkwood is going to impose a blockade of space above it. Our Trade FleetTM uses this route as a backup lane for doing bussines with Byzantium II. It would worry Us greatly, should it be closed. Surely Your claim to said world has nothing to do with any kind of shady dealings with the nefarious Li Halans?

(It's a bit early, but wtf. House al-Malik wishes all the other houses Merry Christmas. Except for house Li Halan, who got excomunicated for being bad.)

I'm observing the game from afar, but I wonder what's the problems of being excommunicated? Just a bad economy because the Church hates you?

It's my first time being excommunicated but all I'm noticing is the loyalty hit.

Covertly sent to Lord Palazzo with no evidence on the note as to the sender:
Surely you must have noticed by now, dear cousin, that this war is nothing but an empty exercise so early in the great game of diplomacy.  Can we not put this matter to rest already?  Accept the Chi Kao claims upon Criticorum and we will offer the same gift as before as condolences.

Okay, second time I've written this.  If it winds up double posting somehow, then whoops.

So I having some serious connectivity problems today.  I actually finished my turn hours ago, but I haven't been able to send it because loading every page is a minute to minute crapshoot.  Yahoo is being especially stubborn, and I've been trying for hours to send an email, but the few times I've gotten it to load at all, it get stuck in a loading-forever-loop trying to attach the savefile.

Depending on what the problem is (might be an adbot, might be throttling, might be rainwater leaking into my wires), I probably won't be able to send it until the early morning.

save sent to mainiac.

We've decided to ignore the cowardly pleas of Li Halan. We've already altered our school's curriculum to include the evil, scheming Chi Kao as a primary antagonist of the Almighty Pancreator, and figured that it'd cost to much to cancel the printing of new textbooks.

Aqizzar must've been bad this year, apparently Santa ordered his elves to mess with his connection.

Booorrriiinnggg...

Hmmmm. I find myself curious whether or not I am keeping up with the Joneses in regards with regaining control of my homeworld. And I must confess that having the only mine on the planet be on a different continent from the one I started in is irritating, but nothing more. I will build others in time.

I don't have total surface control of my planet and I don't intend to for a long time.  The most lucrative agricultural area starts in my control, the most lucrative metal mining area is empty at the start, half the surface of the planet supports energy and trace mining activities.  So I don't feel the need to attack the other two, well guarded rebel settlements at the moment.  Hence my push off world.
