Well, MP3 is a proprietary format and normally I can't encode to it... but I think I can now.

You just need to download and install the lame encoder. It has the download and instructions on the audacity site. In case you didn't know that already.

Well, I listen to ogg files with Windows Media Player. Have a K-Lite codec pack installed and you have no problems.

way back, before i heard of DF, i loved and played roguelikes. One of my favourites was ADOM, which had an amazing comunity, and that comunity spawned a number of filks.... type "ADOM filks" in google ... so something like that should be done to DF... i will try to put something up these days.

Unfortunately I just ran into a bunch of 404 errors. Any actual links?

Hehe. I do suggest that we let this thread be purely for songs that have actually been recorded, as opposed for those that have simply been written. There are other thread floating around here for that.

On that note, does anyone else have anything they've recorded to share? If anyone wants, I guess I could record myself playing a song on guitar so they could sing over it, assuming it's not too terribly complicated. We need more of these.

I'll eventually write an original folk song based on DF. Not sure how soon, though.
