Thanks for all the hard work on these tutorials, Captn. I watched every last one of your 2012 series, and it has helped immensely. I still have a lot to learn, but I don't feel anywhere as overwhelmed as I have trying to play this game in the past (multiple times, even). On the flip side, I play far too much of this game now.

I just wanted to say thanks for the tutorial videos.  They turned the interface and its inherent difficulty, as well as fighting through the general opening mechanics, from a nightmare into something that could eventually just be dealt with.  You actually made the game playable for me.

Thanks for this! I can't believe I found a game that took me four hours and multiple tutorials to figure out how to get just the most basic gameplay up and running. I can believe I had a lot of trouble explaining to my wife why that level of difficulty and complexity is something I *want* out of a game.

Hey capt, just wanted to say thanks for all the tutorial videos. You helped me out greatly when I first started to play with them, and it helped me show my friends what DF is like and how to play it. You probably don't know how many people you helped with your videos, but I can say you've did a good thing by maknig these videos.
