OK. Here are the files for the DVD I quickly threw together. I left it full DVD resolution so it might cut off the very top and bottom a bit if your tv isnt HD or overscan. If people like it enough, I'll  put together a better one later after the Cap'n makes his new videos.

For some reason it didn't label the files consecutively, heh. Here are the links for them all. 8 files, ~400MB a piece, decompresses into a 7.6GB dual layer dvd iso.

And it starts again.

Here is part 01 of the DFVIDTUTS2010:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KGBTNPbUvFM&fmt=18

Ok i also uploaded a video which i encoded with a different process here:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Z1ttiRLmqA&fmt=18

Whih of the two do you think has the better video quality?

first one is better

didnt thought youd make a vid so soon :) awesome!

edt: actually its wierd..
if i follow your links youve posted, both vids have excellent quality if turned back to "360p"
but if i enter the adress WITHOUT the "&fmt=18" on the end of the adress, both vids look excellent in "360p" and in "480p"

cant really see a difference there..

It is weird, the lower quality version definitely looks better on both. There does seem to be little difference between them though. (In other words, ditto I guess  :-\)

Part 8 isnt working for me, at all. it redirects me instantly to the Filedropper main site.

The high quality version is not high quality at all :/ The text is already readable in the normal quality version
but in the high quality version everything is blurred really bad.

Also a little question..
So farms dont get dry in this version but in future versions? I just have to irrigate them once?

Crap i should have touched that in the video.

Farms don't dry up indeed. If they do in the future you can use the floodgate i placed in this video to re-muddy your farms, if the pond has filled again with the rain of course.

Also im hearing that muddy farming is a bug and things might go back to farming in the soil?

Oh the next episode is going to be fun.

I was still preparing for the military, and taking my sweet time getting my main production started first. I took way to long, and now there is a goblin ambush at my fort while i don't have a single piece of outside defense yet, and haven't done anything with the military yet. I've got the game saved at that point, it'll be in the video and I'll use it to show the military in action but things might turn out very bad for my fort.
