Question time!
On my current HOGl I have a +14 Crystal plate mail [+6 dmg] and a maximally enchanted +12 Gold Dragon Armour. I have 23 str and 23 int, because I thought I'd be casting Enchantments, but I found a ring [-cast, rF+, rN+, MR+, Acc+2, Dmg+6 Stlth++] so I probably won't be. I also have 0 magic-related skills, because Trog.
I also have 27 axes and 27 bows, and a +4/+5 Antimagic Executioner axe, as well as a +0/+7 Longbow of freezing. I'm currently using a +0/+7 Vampiric Battle Axe. I have enough scrolls to make both weapons pretty decent.
When I eventually switch to TSO, should I bless the Axe, or the longbow? I guess I should probably wear the GDA, but it has 27 encumbrance rating, whereas the CPM has only 24. Also I really like the look of the CPM, but I don't think that really matters in the grand scheme of things.

Extended is bullshit and worst of all, it's
boring I didn't even die to anything significant - it's just hellfirehellfirehellfire oh wait this last rat skeleton actually managed to hit you for your last hp.
I had healing and teleport and could've escaped no problem, but every single time the stupid repetition dulls my mind and situations that I've gone through a thousand times without dying end up killing me.
My character wasn't really optimal. Bows are safe but ammo can go fuck itself and I used it extremely rarely. I never cast a single spell, too, so all that int could've gone into str so I can carry more stuff. However anti-magic is quite awesome in extended, I was surprised. It works on demons, Pan lords and Hell princes from what I can tell, so all you need to do is get in range. I think it also doesn't stop you from casting, so you can get haste and controlled blink, even if you'll have a total of 10 mana wielding it. Nevertheless, something I might try next time.
