I've won with th'old standby of SpEn, but my favorite is what Leafsnail's playing right now, especially once invocations gets high enough to make the "cooldown" on haunt 2-3 turns. Ghosts everywhere. Every other turn or so, you cast haunt again. On everything. Everything.

It murders anything that doesn't have piercing attacks... and most things that do, if you're careful. Sif MuSu is one of the few mummy combos that's actually not woefully underpowered :P

The effectively infinite mana means you can even do other things besides summon, too~

Earth Elementalists easily win in terms of most fun to play for me, there's something totally empowering about having the whole dungeon as your plaything, and the damage you can throw out is sickening.

Ways of killing:
Hit it with stone arrow/iron shot/ect, earth is king for direct damage.
Explode the walls around the enemy for massive damage.
Turn the walls into elementals to fight for you.
Explode any enemy made of explodable stuff (ice beasts, skeletons, I once ran into a level full of Iron Golems, I almost pitied them in the times when I was recharging in between exploding them).
Petrify the enemy, THEN explode them, paint the dungeon red!

Simply put, Lee's Rapid Deconstruction is THE most awesome spell in the game (explosions are fun), though I'll note that I haven't managed to get to Shatter yet, or a chance to use Ignite Poison in the Hive, those might beat LRD.

Ignite Poison is VERY fun under the right circumstances, but unless you learn Poison Cloud too (which you probably won't), it's of limited use except in situations like Hive and other places where there are tons of poisonous monsters around. I'd still use it in Hive and maybe Snake.

Shatter is fun, although you want high skill and high MP for it. It does decent damage to pretty much anything that isn't flying or amorphous, and does it to a wide area around you, even places out of your line of sight (e.g. through walls). Oh, and messing up the dungeon more is fun.

Sludge Elf Transmuter - I like explosions and pugilism.
Ogre Hunter - I like ogres.
Deep Dwarf Earth Elementalist - Destroying the dungeon is fun!

Shatter is fun for teleporting into the Orb chamber (or entering the last floor of the Vaults) and killing everything in 3-4 turns. I wanna try a death knight before 0.9 comes out. Having a pet capable of killing everything in the game by itself sounds fun.

Olgreb's Toxic Radiance + Ignite Poison = two turn mass smite. Sadly, Olgreb's by itself is really weak, though its enough to slow down or stop most forms of regeneration.

Poison Cloud + Ignite Poison is better. You get similar effects, but as an added bonus, you've filled whatever space the poison clouds are in with flame clouds. It's like casting Conjure Flame in an entire corridor at once... so it's even useful in places like the Crypt (undead).

One of my favorite moments playing an EE was killing an enemy by petrifying a nearby butterfly and making it explode into shrapnel.

Mmm, they need to add more synergistic effects to spells and magic.

Erocrawl has tiles now? If so, link? Or did you copy pasta their code into a trunk build?

Scythes are really bad. Just so you know. :P

Octopodes are really neat, but they have what is probably the hardest early game possible except for some challenge builds. 0 AC hurts, a lot.

Granted, I played them on erocrawl a few weeks ago, back when they didn't have the +1 AC (which Eronarm doesn't really like much as a solution, but he wants to see how it works out before trying other options to help out the early game) and had worse aptitudes and no camouflage mutation.
